This piece captures Lando Norris standing on the car in triumph at the Mexico City Grand Prix, the crowd rising behind him in a moment that would become his championship turning point.
A striking composition built around emotional power, Lando is placed centre stage as the deep burnt orange of the McLaren livery floods the canvas. Abstract form moves through the lower half of the painting, carrying a sense of flow and momentum beneath him. Behind the grandstand crowd dissolves into a warm, blurred energy, heightening the atmosphere and intensity of the moment.
"When creating this piece, I focused on making the composition as strong as possible, using the space to draw the viewer in and create a real sense of place. The colour palette plays a big role in this, adding energy and emotion without overpowering the focus. Abstract form also brings movement into the painting, taking the viewer through the scene and adding balance to the piece, reinforcing the story of the moment. I really enjoyed bringing this piece to life, capturing Lando in an emotional race at a key point in his championship fight
