A print of Jonathan Legard’s original commentary notes from the 1997 Grand Prix of Europe, held in Jerez, Spain.  The race was won by Mika Hakkinen with Britain's David Coulthard in second. Jacques  Villeneuve secured the championship, finishing in third. Michael Schumacher lead the championship going into the race but in a rash attempt to defend his race lead he steered into Villeneuve's Williams.
